TotalReqall

Sponsor: Jonathan Riddell and Carl Schwan

TotalReqall is a program designed to help you memorize the Bible and other works. It uses the Sword library to manage Bible translations, and allows the user to save items to memorize or review later. You can also add custom items to memorize.

Join the conversation via IRC at #kde-totalreqall on Freenode, or by joining #totalreqall:kde.org on Matrix. IRC and Matrix are supposed to be bridged, so hopefully you won't miss any messages.

Manifesto Compliance Plan

List the actions planned to get in compliance with the manifesto.

Values

TotalReqall does not track you in any way, shape, or form. It is simply there to help you.

Open Governance

Free Software

TotalReqall is under the BSD 2-Clause "Simplified" license.

Inclusivity

Anybody can contribute to TotalReqall.

Innovation

TotalReqall is (as far as I can tell) the first application of its kind for Linux. Although it is currently a fairly basic application, many more features are planned in the future. These include:

  • Multiple memorization methods (such as drag-and-drop reordering of scrambled text)
  • Progress tracking and practice reminders
  • A mobile app
  • Importing and exporting your collection of memorized items through files, QR code, or other methods
  • ... and more!

Common Ownership

TotalReqall is hosted on invent.kde.org and anybody may freely download the code.

End-User Focus

Anybody should be able to use TotalReqall. KDE software for all.
