Online Accounts

Online Accounts is a central place to add, remove and configure accounts for various online services like Twitter, Google, Facebook and others. Adding a new online account allows any KDE application to interact with the service - for example adding a new Google account automatically let's you access Google Drive files from Dolphin. Adding a Twitter account makes it easy to share any image to Twitter from the context menu in most of KDE apps.

Online accounts can be configured from System Settings

Supported Services

Google

  • Access Google Drive from Dolphin and other KDE applications
  • Upload videos straight to YouTube
  • Sync events, tasks and contacts from Google Calendar and Google Contacts with Kontact

Twitter

Note: sign-in does not work as of now

  • Share images and other files to Twitter as posts

Owncloud

Note: does not work with Nextcloud

  • Upload files to Owncloud from the "Share" context menu
