Allowing for a Clear and Predictable Navigation and Manipulation

Kirigami aims for clear and predictable navigation through information spaces, as well as clear action patterns.

One central element for clear navigation that is Column-based navigation, which allows users to navigate up and down through levels of hierarchically organized information spaces in a consistent manner, and allows them to quickly step through elements in a list while seeing each element's details on larger screens.

Actions are clearly separated into global and context-specific ones, to make the scope of an action always clear and to allow users to intuitively know where to look for an action.
