This is the page for the Core Akademy team that works with the local team every year.
Core Roles:
Volunteer Coordinator
Collaborates with the Venue Coordinator and Event Manager. Recruits, organizes, trains, and manages the Akademy Volunteers. They are responsible for coming up with the shift schedule, tasks, descriptions, and handling related communications.
Sponsor Coordinator
Collaborates with the Event Manager. Develops and maintains relationships with Akademy sponsors. Handles communication between Sponsors and the Akademy team, and ensures they get their slides/logos/etc to the team in time for printing.
Venue Coordinator
Collaborates with the Local Team (LT), Event Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator to secure a location that suits the physical and technical requirements of Akademy, & the related social events (welcome, social, day trip, dinners). The venue coordinator is responsible for ensuring the contracts, invoices, etc make it to the KDE e.V. for payment/processing/signing.
Event Manager

Contributions from other teams
Promo
Promo provides the copy for the blog & social media posts, writes press releases, and schedules posting content around and during akademy to generate interest.
Design
Design provides the Akademy graphics: Sponsorship brochures, Call for Hosts, time signs, Sponsor's logo posters, etc.
Video
Cleans up video from the event and breaks them down by talk for uploading to peertube/youtube.
