This page contains everything related to KDE events and their promotion.

Major events

KDE events

Once a year, hundreds of members of the community meet at Akademy to present their work, plan future projects, build community and get work done.

Held annually in the United States, Camp KDE provided a regional opportunity for KDE contributors and enthusiasts to gather, learn about the latest KDE happenings and share their experiences.

After every Plasma Desktop release, some people organize release parties in their city to gather KDE enthusiasts and have fun together.

External events

CeBIT is the digital industry's biggest, most international event. Thanks to its unique combination of exhibition, conferences, keynotes, corporate events and lounges, CeBIT represents an unrivaled tool for doing business and sealing deals.

LinuxTag is the most important place for Linux and open source software in Europe.

OpenRheinRuhr is an exhibition and congress about free software in the Ruhr Valley.
