Manifesto Compliance Plan

Values

MyGNUHealth is a Libre application that puts the person in control of her health. It is part of the GNU Health ecosystem, a social project that uses technology to deliver freedom and equity in healthcare.

Open Governance

The development of MyGNUHealth is open to any organization or individual. We believe that the great projects are the result of the interaction and feedback of many actors.

Free Software

All components in the GNU Health ecosystem are Free / Libre software. MyGNUHealth allows you to download, view the source code, customize it to meet your needs and contribute those improvements back to the community.

Inclusivity

Anyone, from any background, can contribute to MyGNUHealth. GNU Health benefits today from a large international, multi-cultural and trans-disciplinary community.

Innovation

GNU Health combines Social Medicine with state-of-the-art technology. In the case of MyGNUHealth, it makes use of Qt and the Kirigami framework. MyGNUHealth is a convergent application, that is, it adapts very well to desktop and mobile devices, providing a great user experience.

MyGNUHealth integration with the GH Federation allows the person / patient to be part of the system of health, and share information in realtime with her health professionals. This also provides timely and updated demographic and epidemiological information to the public health system, to proactively work on health promotion and disease prevention at both individual and population levels.

Common Ownership

MyGNUHealth is a Libre application by the community and for the community. Its GPL license guarantees that it will be always that way.

Happy to get contributions from the KDE community.

End-User Focus

MyGNUHealth is a Personal Health Record application. It is focused on the individual. It is designed to provide the best experience for the user. It must be easy to use for the non-technical user, yet, solid in terms of security and privacy.
