Panel Rotation Test
Description
Plasma makes a point of not dictating the users wants and needs for him or her. Some users want their panel to be placed vertically and some may prefer a horizontal panel. This test will check whether the widgets behave as expected no matter what placement is chosen for the panel.
Preparation Steps
- Boot any of the Test Day ISOs and log into Plasma
- Add default panel if it is not there already
Test Steps
- Click on hamburger icon in the panel
- From the panel controller select "Screen Edge" and move panel to different screen edges
Test Checklist
- Are icons of task manager aligned properly?
- K-menu dialog is aligned and opened properly?
- Is text in digital clock readable?
- Are icons in system tray aligned properly?
