Drag'n'Drop Test
Description
Plasma has two different desktop containers by default: desktop and folder view. They each have different properties and uses and each one has fans among Plasma users. In this test we are checking if files dropped from dolphin are saved in place correctly even when the "Folder View" isn't displayed
Preparation Steps
- Boot any of the Test Day ISOs and log into Plasma
Test Steps
- Open Dolphin
- Drag a folder from Dolphin to the Desktop
- Right click on desktop, select Unlock Widgets
- Right Click on desktop again, and now go to "Desktop Settings" and then select "Folder View" from the drop down menu at the top of the window.
- Look for your drop file on the Desktop.
